This year is going to be so exciting for so many reasons. Personally, I am so excited because I am attempting to venture into a new business endeavor. I am also considering changing career (apart from targeting the presidency, of course). But of course, I am just a speck of dust in this society/universe. So, here are things to look forward to and watch out this year:
- Manny Pacquiao’s next fight and his bid for a Congress seat. I hope he wins all his boxing fights and lose any bids in the political arena. Why does he have to even consider doing that?
- Pangandaman’s case. Will this even reach the courthouse? By 05 January, the complaint will be/can be filed to the proper body. Good luck! Oh, the Pangandamans appealed to bloggers to stop accusing them of anything. Good thing I don’t have my identity here and/or I don’t play golf.
- Payment by the PDIC of the insured PhP250K account from Legacy banks. Imagine, I was actually considering opening an account at Rural Bank of Parañaque?! Good thing I needed the cash for something more important. And urgent.
- The upcoming 2010 national elections. By mid-2009, I’m sure all the would-bes and wannabes will be flooding the media — from TV, Radio to billboards.
- Obama’s inauguration and first few days in the White House. I really am so positive about this. If my friend who’s in the US stumble upon this post, I hope she buys me an Obama cap or shirt! (Hi, Ms. Mountaineer!)
- The financial crisis. I really hope this would be over soon. My stock portfolio is soooo red and any positive development in the global economy is very, very much welcome. (I might be able to buy my own domain by then! Hehehe.)
And finally, and something I am really so excited about:
- Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie.
